The Academy of Sciences Chennai proposes to conduct the Summer Training Program-2022 (STP-2022) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics this year through online for two weeks (from 23rd July to 6th August, 2022). This program is effectively designed to benefit the Postgraduate students of Tamil Nadu, especially from rural back ground and also to motivate the students to write CSIR / GATE examinations as well as to pursue a career in research. This internship programme is meant for the Second year M. Sc. students (going to the second academic year in 2022-2023), who are interested in pursuing research career. The internship programme will completely be online consisting of lectures / tutorials / assignments. The lectures will be delivered by the faculty members drawn from the leading research and teaching institutions. The necessary applications are available in the respective link.

Physics STPIP-2022: The Department of Nuclear Physics, University of Madras and Department of Nanosciences and Technology & Department of Physics, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore will conduct the programme separately. Apply on or before 17th July 2022.

The program is open to all the P.G. Institutions in Tamil Nadu. Since the student strength is limited to 50 for the program, the admission will normally be restricted to a maximum of two students per Department/College. Interested candidates should submit their details through online registration.

The classes will be conducted during the evening hours.
